Business Continuity Project Manager, Asset Management

Andersen Steinberg are currently recruiting for one of their clients, a leading Asset Management Company, for a Business Continuity Project Manager with experience in the Financial Services sector.

Job description

The Business Continuity Professional will manage business continuity projects throughout the companies U.S. offices. The position will report to the Global Head of Business Continuity Management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee Business Impact Analyses and assist business units in determining critical processes, recovery time and recovery point objectives, and resource requirements for a successful recovery in the event of a business disruption
• Coordinate with business units to develop and maintain business continuity plans, ensuring that plans satisfy business, legal and regulatory requirements
• Work with business leaders to establish a thorough, comprehensive disaster recovery testing program
• Lead the coordination of plan exercises
• Develop and implement employee Business Continuity awareness programs
• Work with business development professionals to provide detailed and consistent information on the firm’s Business Continuity Management program to prospective and existing clients.
• Provide project leadership between information technology and business leaders to provide a well executed and integrated Business Continuity program

Skills and qualifications:

• Three to Five years of Strong experience in Business Continuity in financial services organizations
• Excellent project management skills
• Strong analytical, organizational and decision-making skills
• Ability to work on teams and independently with little supervision
• Ability to anticipate and adapt to a rapidly changing, growth-oriented environment
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to interface and coordinate work effectively with stakeholders in remote locations
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and an ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
• Ability to work with senior management and clients, including creating and making presentations to various constituencies
• Ability to apply practical solutions to complex business problems
• Strong understanding of database design, and the ability to manipulate data
• CBCP or CRP certification preferred but not mandatory
• Living Disaster Recovery Planning System (LDRPS) experience a plus
